RAJA Sri Raja Sri was born
in Mumbai to the renowned filmmaker V. Shantaram and Jayshree, an
actress. Jayshree was the second wife of the producer. She has a
brother named Kiran Shantaram who was a Sheriff of Mumbai, Maharashtra,
India.
In 1967, the actress married an American named Greg Chapman and moved to Los Angeles the next year. The couple have a daughter.

CAREER Rajasri started her
film career in 1954 with Subah Ka Tara. Nandha, Mohabbat Zindagi Hai
(1966), Brahmachari (1968), Geet Gaya Patharon Ne (1964), and (1964)
Shehnai are some of her most famous movies.
V.Shantaram cast
her opposite actor Jeetendra for Geet Gaya Patharon Ne. This happened
to be the debut movie of both Rajasri and Jeetendra in lead roles. They
worked together again in R. Bhattacharya's Suhag Raat (1968).
She
was seen opposite Shammi Kapoor in movies like Janwar (1965), Dil Ne
Pukara (1967), and Brahmachari(1968). Brahmachari was a box office hit.
Pran, Mumtaz, Jagdeep, and Sachin were part of this film. She appeared
opposite Raj Kapoor in the film Around the World (1967). She has also
acted in Tamil movies like Kadalikka Neramillai (1964) and Bama Vijam
(1967).
Her last movie was Naina (1973) with Shammi Kapoor and Moushumi Chatterjee.
