Ileana(Telugu:ఇలేయన) She made her feature film debut through Y.V.S. Chowdhary's Telugu-language film Devadasu  opposite newcomer, Ram, but has also done a Tamil film Kedi. She has emerged one of the most successful actresses in the Telugu film industry, having appeared in several blockbusters like Devadasu, Pokiri, Jalsa and Kick.
Ileana was born in Mumbai, India, to Goan parents Ronaldo Leo and Sameera. Her parents named her after Ileana Cosânzeana (In the myth, she is a beautiful princess who is kidnapped by Zmeu, who locks her up in his castle and waits for her to give in to his marriage proposal. She is saved by Făt-Frumos, who is analogous to Prince Charming) from Romanian folklore. She completed her high school studies at St.Mary's Convent High School, Mapusa, Goa. She likes her family a lot, an absolute practical and sharp person with interests in swimming and reading Sidney Sheldon books [citation needed].

She debuted in the Telugu language film Devadasu in 2006 starring opposite Ram and directed by Y.V.S. Chowdhary who spotted her in a Fair and Lovely ad film directed by Rakesh Roshan . The film was a blockbuster.

Her breakthrough came with her second Telugu film where she essayed the role of Shruti opposite Mahesh Babu in the highly successful Pokiri,in which she has done the role of an aerobic teacher. The film gained her good reviews.. She then made her Tamil language film debut alongside Ravi Krishna in Kedi. Although the film did not do so well at the box-office, Ileana was sought after by many directors[who?] and actors in Tamil for films which she eventually rejected due to her commitments in Telugu Recently she acted with Pawan Kalyan in the movie Jalsa.

Her 2009 film against Ravi Teja, titled Kick was declared a hit at the box office, following which she starred in the films Rechipo and YVS Choudary's Saleem alongside Manchu Vishnu Vardhan.

Ileana D'Cruz is an Indian film actress.

D'Cruz was born in Mumbai in India of Goan parentage. Her father is a Roman Catholic father Ronaldo Leo, a lawyer and mother, Sameera a Muslim.[citation needed] Her parents named her name after Ileana (Helen of Troy) from Greek mythology.

She has three sisters and two brothers.
