Krishna vamshi
Krishna Vamsi Pasupuleti Telugu Actor was (born on 28 July 1962) is an Indian film director. He is a two-time national award winning director. He is regarded as one of the most creative directors in India. He directs for Telugu films in the Tollywood industry.Krishna Vamsi was born in Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh. His father named him "Venkata Bangaaru Raju". His friends used to call/tease him by the name "Bangaaram". So, before joining his Intermediate Course, he changed his name to "Krishna Vamsi". He did his BSc. in Tadepalligudem followed by M.A. in Agricultural Economics from Agra University.
He then entered the film industry. He started as a camera assistant, assistant to the editor and assistant director. He worked under Ram Gopal Varma.

Krishna Vamsi established his own production company Andhra Talkies in 1997.
Sindhooram is by far the best epic movie of his generation, a story attempted by few before but never could portray in the way Vamsi did. It is definitely on par with his mentor Ram Gopal Varma. Krishna vamsi's attempt definitely raised many eyebrows. He gave chance to many good talents like Ravi Teja with this film. Sanghavi has definitely played her part the best.
This movie highlights all aspects of Naxalism and it is beautifully portrayed throughout the movie. This movie gives you an understanding on how the young and old are roped into the influence of Naxalism.
Although his first film was Money Money(1995) produced by RGV he did not made his name appear on-screen.
He is well-known for bringing out new talents in artists. He made Jagapati Babu, who is famous for playing typical family roles, play a tapori role in his award winning movie Anthapuram. However, his movie Samudram, in which Jagapathi Babu played the leading role, was a disaster.
He is a choreographer too. His songs have the typical Krishna Vamsi romantic touch. At least one song in each of his films has a melodious duet.(Except "Rakhi") Examples are: "kannullo nee rupame" from Ninne Pelladutha, "ii velalo niivu em cestu untavu" from Gulabi, "nuvvu nuvvu" from Khadgam, "oke oka maata" from Chakram.
His movies contain good social message too. Movies like Chakram, Khadgam, Sindhuram are good examples.
Krishna Vamsi shares a very good relation with Sirivennela Sitaramasastri, the ten time Nandi best lyricist award winner. He gets the best out of him whether it be teen songs like "class room lo tapassu cheyyuta", duets like "nuvvu nuvvu", message-oriented songs like "jagamanta kutumbam naadi" and "Ardha Satabdapu Agnanaani Swarajyamandama".
His movie, Chakram was inspired by an old song written by Sirivennala Seetha Rama Sastry "Jagamanta Kutumbam naadi". Ironically it was the biggest flop of his career.
His next movie was "Rakhi" with N. T. Rama Rao Jr.. It had a lot of expectations as both the director and hero had not tasted good success in recent days. His film Rakhi is an above average movie. It dealt with how women are tortured in the society.
He also choreographed two songs from the film Okkadunnadu on director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti's request.
He then directed the movie Chandamama, released in September 2007. It received some average reviews in the beginning but was appreciated by audiences, later becoming one of the best movies of that year.
In 2009, Sasirekha Parinayam released;it did average business.
His recent movie "Mahatma" which stars Srikanth and Bhavana as leading pair had down conviencing business and gained a good public appreciation. This was Srikanth's 100th Movie. The director Mr Vamshi gave Srikanth a good look according to the character. This film talked about Gandhian principles. The song "Indiramma inti peru kaadura Gandhi" was critically apreciated.
His next project is named as Khandireega with raviteja. It is expected to be a comedy movie in which Ravi teja play's a role as a Great Grand son of King Krishna Deva Rayalu and funny scenes with tenali rama krishna.
