Vallakottai is an action packed romantic Tamil film Screenplay and directed by A. Venkatesh and produced by T D Raja under the banner of 'ESK Films International'. Dhina has composed the music for the film. Cinematography done by Anjaneyalu and dialogues are written by Gopinath. Story of the film 'Vallakottai' revolves around a juvenile thief, who after serving a long time in prison decides to reform. On his arrival at a small town Vallakottai, he comes across few unexpected encounters with roughnecks that change his course of life. Who is he and what are his plans will be revealed in an interesting way. There will be plenty of twists and turns in the story. He is playing a Superman kind of role inn ‘Vallakottai’. Film's director Venkatesh says and adds: “We have shot some important scenes in Hong Kong. A special equipment was acquired to shoot a risky stunt scene. Expect the unexpected in ‘Vallakottai’.”

Recently, the audio of the film 'Vallakottai' was Launched in a grand manner at Andhra Club in Chennai. Many southern stars graced the event. However, the lead actor Arjun was not present in the event. So,the music of the film launched without the presence of lead actor. Naturally, Action King Arjun's Vallakottai happened to be one such occasion as the actor missed the event. The reason behind his absent has been told that he is constantly busy in shooting for numerous projects simultaneously at the same time. So, Actor Sharath Kumar launched Vallakottai audio. Actress Hari Priya and Vincent Ashokan was the film's actor present for the occasion. On this occasion director of the film Venkatesh said, “For the first time, Arjun has tried something new in this film. He has come up with lots of comical shades instead of trying out on action packed arenas. It will be a decorous family entertainer.
