Sukumar(Bandreddi) is a Tollywood film director and screenwriter. Sukumar worked as assistant director for the film Dil. His directorial debut Arya was a sensational hit. |
He was a Mathematics lecturer before, he came to the film industry. He used to work in Aditya Tutorials, Kakinada. Since childhood, he had a passion for films, which eventually brought him Hyderabad. Russian Novels influenced him a lot. Later worked as an assistant director for the film “Dil†with -V.V.Vinayk and directed his first film in “Arya†in 2004, which went on to become a sensational hit. His next film was Jagadam with Devadasu fame Ram in the lead role. Though it didn't generate money at the B.O. ,it was a brilliant film.His recent film arya 2 amid huge expectations was criticized by critcs as an under rated movie despite of much hype of the audio, but was appreciated by allu arjun's fans.Currently, he is planning to direct a movie for Naga Chaitanya under Geeta Arts very soon.
